Panel Conclusion 2018
Milestones Completed
For the execution of the programme, the MBA of Hotelschool The Hague has the privilege of working with outstanding tangible and intangible facilities: from the dedicated classroom to the restaurant outlets, and from the dedicated master suite to study and socialise to having access to professional student counselling.
The MBA students have access to all the facilities the school offers, including their own social lounge on the 2nd floor of the campus. The students use it to study and get together for meals and small after-exam-parties for example. The Learning Management System (LMS) myhotelschool.nl, powered by Sakai, facilitates seamless sharing, storing and exchanging of study materials and assignments. Our Servicedesk and IT Helpdesk are available daily for tackling more operational and technology related problems that occur.
This characteristic of their dedicated space on campus proved to be of exceptional value during the academic years that were severely impacted by the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic. The pandemic further increased our awareness of the importance of social coherence and cultural diversity within our student population. It encouraged us to stick to our drive to balance these aspects of the programme/community. For details, please see Lessons learned during Corona Pandemic.

The Media Centre
The Media Centre is a treasure trove of resources for assignments, research, and fieldwork. The use of technology-driven academic databases such as Elsevier’s Science Direct and MarketLine Advantage have been integrated in all courses of the MBA curriculum. The facilities also formed a major factor in continuing the programme throughout the Corona Pandemic which also gave us some useful and valuable insights to reflect on.
Over the years, the facilities at HTH have been highly valued by students, as shown in the table and quotes below:

"Very modern, great to have our own space, classroom and MBA lounge. The only very small complaint I could have is that there’s very limited space to sit and have lunch.” Emma Leperlier 2022
“Highly convenient for students, encouraging an environment to learning and connect with people.” Chaiyakit Limsuval 2019
“Access to books via the Media Centre was incredible for the subject matter we were studying; articles and sources were always available as well. So much amazing reading.” Elliot Pizer 2021
